This cozy unit features two spacious storage drawers underneath the bed, and a universal ladder that can be attached at either side. Moreover, at the upper and lower floors, safety rails will keep the little ones from toppling out, and ensure peace of mind. The Monika bunk bed can be bought with or without a mattress.

Are mattresses included?
You can choose between "Without Mattresses", "With Foam Mattresses", or "With Foam/Bonnell Mattresses" options. Foam mattresses are 8cm thick with increased hardness and cotton zipper covers. Bonnell mattresses are 13-15cm thick with open coil springs.
What material is the bunk bed made from?
Our bunk beds are made from solid pine wood with a slatted bed base (also pine wood). They are painted with three-layered water-based spray paint rather than solvent-based paint for child safety. Available in 4 colours: White, Grey, Graphite, and Pine.
Who should assemble the bunk bed?
We recommend assembly by two competent adults. The beds are made to order and require careful assembly following the included instructions. All necessary hardware is provided. The ladder can be attached to either side during assembly.
Can the safety rails be removed later?
Yes, most safety guards and side rails can be removed at a later stage as your child grows. Some models allow the cot bed to be converted to a normal bed by exchanging the front guard for a basic side panel (included).
What mattresses do I need?
Both beds: 190 × 90 cm (UK Single). Cot bed max thickness: 13cm (to prevent child climbing out). Top bunk max thickness: 13-15 cm.
Can this bunk bed be separated into individual beds?
Yes, this bunk bed can be taken apart and used as two separate single beds. This is useful as your children grow or if you want to rearrange the room layout.
What age is the cot bed suitable for?
The lower cot bed is suitable for children from 8 months old, while the top bunk is recommended for children from 6 years old. The cot bed features tall safety guards (54cm) and can later be converted to a normal bed by replacing the front guard with a side panel (included).
What storage is included with this bunk bed?
This bunk bed includes two under-bed storage drawers (front height approx. 11-23cm) that provide ample space for toys, bedding, or clothes. The drawers are built into the bed frame for a neat, integrated look.
